Free, confidential and bilingual services

Our services are free, confidential, and bilingual (French and English). They are available to any adult experiencing a crisis — no medical referral required.

Our crisis intervention line is the first step. You’ll be welcomed with respect and guided according to your needs.

If you can’t travel or if the situation requires it, a counsellor can come to you — at home or in a safe location.

We offer personalized short-term support, usually between 4 and 8 sessions, to help you stabilize your situation and plan the next steps.

In some cases, short-term crisis housing may be offered to provide a safe and supportive space to pause and regain stability.

We help you catch your breath, regain balance, and rebuild daily structure.

You’ll be supported daily by our team, at your own pace, with respect for your choices — to help you understand what you’re going through and reconnect with what helps you feel well.

Supporting a loved one in crisis can be demanding. Le Transit offers a program designed specifically for caregivers facing distress.

The Caregivers: Getting Through Crisis Together project, in partnership with Arborescence Québec, provides:

  • One-on-one psychosocial support
  • Group workshops
  • Public conferences
